I am a Bayesian Data Scientist working on causal reasoning under uncertainty.
Patience, constancy and the product rule (of probability or evolution). Patience to learn from mistakes, because only surprise is the source of information. The constancy for the long term, not to stop doing despite some mistakes. And the product rule is the answer, cooperate to create solutions. Thanks to many people, today I am dedicated to causal reasoning in contexts of uncertainty, the development of open software in Python, Julia and R, the construction of data that maximize the rate of information, and the organization of the Plurinational Bayesian Community. Instead of selecting a single hypothesis, the Bayesian approach evaluates each and every hypotheses according to the empirical and formal evidence (data and causal models).
